YFC aims to participate in the mental, physical, social, and spiritual development of young people in South Africa today. YFC sees their GOLD peer education programme as contributing this goal by equipping young people as leaders who will influence their peers and communities towards positive change and social transformation.
Youth with a Vision is working in eight villages in the Dennilton area. The organisation has three orphanages, housing 470 orphans and twenty five volunteers implementing programmes like Family Preservation, Permaculture, Micro–enterprises, Young Mothers in Action and a creative arts program to raise HIV& AIDS awareness amongst the youth. Youth with a Vision use sports, drama, music, and poetry to promote their life skills programme and reach school-going youth.
